Post 10 - Excel

This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically Excel in the software list.

Description of the tool: Excel is initially a spreadsheet software used to organize, calculate, and visualize data. You can use this application to create tables to sort information. Here is a YouTube tutorial to help navigate Excel. https://youtu.be/zyTLmehsAvs?si=sfaXIRFcDmXXUNH7

Ease of use: Excel is easy to use, especially for entering data, making calculations, and making visualize charts of groups of information. However, there are some more complicated aspects to Excel that are only understandable for experts and advanced users of Excel.

Versatility: Anyone can use Excel for different concepts such as reports, charts, financial situations, budgets, etc. Excel is used for educational, professional, financial purposes and more.

Overall likelihood of using it in your classroom: I will use this application if I need to organize my material such as grades or show a concept in math if it is needed.

Connection: Excel can connect to the SAMR model because it can be used as modification or redefinition of concepts, to help redesign tasks, and fix concepts, especially formulas. This technology can help you organize your thoughts and help creativity.
