Post 3 - Kahoot

This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically Kahoot in the hardware list. https://kahoot.com/

Description of the tool: Kahoot is an online application that is game-based used to create study guides for quizzes. It is a fun experience for studying that is competitive against other people who join the game. To learn more about how to use Kahoot for quizzing and other ways, here is a tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R82zOtJDmxQ

Ease of use: Kahoot is very easy to use. Kahoot games only require students to access Kahoot on a mobile device and enter a game PIN to enter and play the game.

Versatility: Kahoot allows you create any type of quiz for any subject or topic. There are also several different question forms you can use to study: multiple-choice, true/false, puzzle, poll, or fill in the blank

Overall likelihood of using it in your classroom: I believe that Kahoot will likely be used within my classroom as a resource to help my students review for quizzes or exams. It will create a fun, creative, and competitive environment where students will want to win so that motivates studying.

Connection: We have not discussed a topic in class that has connected to Kahoot yet.
