Post 2 - Teams
This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically Teams in the hardware list. https://teams.live.com/free
Description of the tool: Teams is a Microsoft application that is used for digital chatting, video/zoom meetings, file sharing, and task management. It allows people to work and communicate in real-time about projects. To learn more about how to use Teams, here is a tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDDPoYOQYfM
Ease of use: This tool is similar to email or direct messaging where it contains areas for instant digital messaging between individuals or groups of people.
Versatility: This application is available on any mobile device, including a laptop, desktop computer, iPad, or mobile phone. Teams is also used over internet access so you can communicate in this app from anywhere.
Overall likelihood of using it in your classroom: Teams may be a likely tool used in the classroom if the school uses it as their primary communication tool between staff and administrators
Connection: There isn't a topic we have talked about that has used the Teams application yet. We do use communication tools such as email, or canvas email that is similar as it uses direct messaging with individuals or groups of people.
Hi Jordan! I really like your blog post about Teams. I like how you added that it may be used in the classroom if it is used by school staff and administrators.
